BOOKHAND

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 August 2026

Bookhand (“the App”) is developed and published by Bruno Oliveira (“I”, “me”, “my”), an individual developer.

Summary: the App does not collect, transmit or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking.

Data I collect

None. The App does not collect, store or transmit any personal data or usage data about you. It has no user accounts, no sign-in, no analytics or telemetry, no advertising and no third-party SDKs. I operate no servers and receive no information about you or how you use the App.

Your notebooks

Notebooks and any other content you create in the App are stored locally on your device. I have no access to this content and cannot read, recover or restore it.

Deleting the App from your device deletes its locally stored content.

Permissions

The App does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, photo library, location, health data or any other sensitive device data. When you add an image to a notebook or import a file, the App uses the system photo and document pickers, which share only the specific items you choose; the App never gains access to your photo library or your other files.

Tracking

The App does not track you. It does not follow you across other apps or websites, does not use advertising identifiers, and therefore does not use Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework.

Third parties

The App contains no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking code, and does not send data to any third-party service.

Children

Because the App collects no data at all, it collects no data from children.

Information handled by Apple

If you obtain the App from the App Store, Apple may collect information about the download and, if you have opted in on your device, may provide me with aggregated, anonymised crash and usage reports through App Store Connect. That processing is carried out by Apple under Apple’s own privacy policy, not by the App.

Your rights

Since I hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for me to access, correct, export or delete. If you have a question about privacy in the App, you can contact me at the address below.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, I will publish the updated version at this same URL and change the date above.
